Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-26.

Summary. Actually. is a tool to help you understand your debt. It is not financial advice. The numbers you see are mathematical estimates from the inputs you enter. Be honest with your numbers and the math will be honest back. Actually. is free; donations are voluntary.

1. Agreement

By using Actually. you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the app. These terms apply to all users of tryactually.app and any related services operated by Actually, LLC, a Utah limited liability company.

2. What Actually. is — and isn't

Actually. is a calculator and visualization tool that helps you see what your debt costs over its lifetime. It is not financial advice. The numbers are mathematical projections from the inputs you enter — not guarantees, professional recommendations, or legally binding projections. We are not lawyers, accountants, or licensed financial advisors. For decisions involving significant money — refinancing, consolidating, choosing between payoff strategies — talk to a licensed professional who knows your full situation.

3. Your account and data

Actually. does not require a proprietary account. Your data is processed in your browser and saved to your own Google Drive when you sign in. Actually, LLC does not operate servers that access, store, or transmit your financial data.

4. Donations

Donations are voluntary. They do not unlock features or change how the app works. Donations are processed by Stripe; you can change or cancel a recurring donation any time via Stripe's billing portal. Donations are not tax-deductible (Actually, LLC is a for-profit entity, not a registered nonprofit).

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, attempt to reverse-engineer or extract source code for commercial use, or interfere with our infrastructure.

6. Intellectual property

Actually. and its design, code, copy, and branding are owned by Actually, LLC. Data you enter into the app belongs to you.

7. Limitation of liability

Actually. is provided "as is" and "as available." The numbers it shows are projections from the inputs you enter; we don't guarantee they're accurate for any given lender, tax situation, or financial outcome. Don't make significant financial decisions based on Actually. alone — talk to a licensed professional. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Actually, LLC's liability for any claim arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you've donated to us in the 12 months before the claim. If you've donated $0, that's $0.

8. Dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Disputes are resolved in Utah courts. Before any legal claim, you agree to contact us at support@tryactually.app to attempt to resolve informally.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Actually. after changes constitutes acceptance.
